Baltimore beats Oakland 31-10

Baltimore Ravens has struggled of late but keep themselves in the playoff race by beating Oakland 31-10 improving the record to 5-4. Doing what they do and have done best. Ground and pound and THE Defense. They were a different team under new HC Blue Ninja. They were playing as if they were angry, hitting hard and playing aggressive all over the field.

Both defenses held their opponents to no score in a 1st quarter but in second quarter Baltimore's running game that features one of the league's finest RB tandem Ray Rice and Steven Jackson exploded scoring 2 rushing scores along w another passing score to Doss from Flacco on a 66yds bomb off play action leading the game 24-3 at the half.

Raiders attempting to come back in the 2nd half but with Baltimore's running game not showing any sign of slowing down and the shutdown defense showing up they couldn't even keep the ball for long except for the 97yd rushing score by QB Lattimore. Baltimore dominated the time of possession 29:01 to 10:59. ending the game 31-10 Baltimore. Rice and Jackson both went over 150 yards in rushing Rice with 1 score and Jackson with 2 score.

But player of the game was not either of them. It was Devaughn Norris the rookie MLB out of Missouri who picked off 2 passes one of them in the redzone at Baltimore's 5yd line early in the 2nd half. "That was huge, the game could've gone the other way if they were to score on that drive. 57 did a great job today, to come in the league and starts at MLB for Ravens comes with huge expectation but he did really well." said new HC Blue Ninja. That is the position future hall of fame LB Ray Lewis played for over 15 years who is arguably one of the best LB NFL has ever seen. "He did look like 52 out there today didn't he? He's got it. If he keeps working hard like he has been he's gonna be great. He could be the heart and soul of this defense." Blue ninja commented when asked about Norris. "We are different team now. We're not who we were in the 1st half of the season. We have changed the moment I got here. Well that's kinda why I'm here."

Baltimore looked completely different in this game in a positive way, If they could keep it going the way they did this week they could be a darkhorse in the playoffs.
